i'm awake at 7:30am. job interview at 11:30 today. should be fun.

well it's friday. seems like there's so much going on this weekend. one of those weekends where anyone who's anyone will be anywhere and everywhere. unfortunately i'm broke. a friend is having a birthday get-together downtown tonight, i'm only going to be able to show up for the dinner/pre-drinks meeting. that will have to suffice as my weekend exposure.

ugh. i feel like such a be-seen whore. but well, i'm single now and i need to keep myself busy. shoving my face into the crowd is basically the same thing as me throwing my resume all over the place in search of a job.

speaking of which. hopefully the job i have an interview for today turns out to be half decent. cuz i'm finally starting to feel the need to quit my current go-nowhere part-time dishwashing job.

friday interviews are always promising. on 3 other friday interview occasions, i've been hired on the spot with the "great, you start monday!" handshake.
